FAQs

Q: How does mobile tyre fitting work?
A:

Our process is simple: Select your tyres online, book a convenient time, and we’ll come to you – whether that’s at home, work, or anywhere else. Our fully-equipped mobile workshops handle everything from fitting and balancing to old tyre disposal, all at your chosen location.

Q: Is mobile tyre fitting more expensive than traditional tyre shops?
A:

No! Our prices are competitive with traditional tyre shops, often even better. Our quoted price includes everything – fitting, balancing, new valves, weights, and old tyre disposal. Plus, you save time and fuel by not driving to a workshop. We even offer a Mobile Price Match guarantee if you find a better deal elsewhere that includes fitment at your location.

Q: How long will it take to change my tyres?
A:

It generally takes under an hour to change four tyres.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A:

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and digital payment methods including Afterpay and Zip.

Q: Are there any extra costs?
A:

The price listed during the checkout process will include all costs. These include fitting, balancing, new valves, weights, and old tyre disposal.

Q: Do you provide warranty on your services?
A:

All tyres come with a manufacturer’s warranty against any manufacturing defect (materials or workmanship) – for more details on our warranty & insurance policies see here.

Q: How quickly can you come to fit my tyres?
A:

Ensure you have selected your suburb for tyre fitment, and availability will be shown on the tyre you choose, or at checkout.  Availability is determined by the tyre you choose and available vans for your suburb.

Q: How much space do we require to fit your tyres?
A:

We need to be able to get access to both sides of the car and be able to park our bright-yellow-and-white van near to where the vehicle is parked. Driveways or car parks are ideal, providing there is sufficient space around the vehicle.

Q: How do I know if I need new tyres?
A:

Check your tyre tread depth – if it’s less than 3mm, it’s time to consider replacement. Below 1.6mm is dangerous and illegal. Also look for uneven wear, bulges, or cracks.

Q: What if I'm not sure about my tyre size?
A:

No problem! You can enter your vehicle registration number on our website, and we’ll find the right tyres for your car.

Q: How do I read the size of my tyres?
A:

Your tyre size is always written as a sequence of numbers and letters on the tyre sidewall. In the example below, we will use a tyre size 185/55 R15 81H, which can be split into five parts:
* width (185): the width of your tyre in millimetres.
* profile (55): the size between wheel rim and the top of the tyre, measured as a percentage of the tyre width.
* tyre size (R15): the diameter of the rim in inches.
* load index (81): refers to the load capacity in kilograms of the tyre. This number is an index, with the number referring to a KG load.
* speed index (H): refers to the maximum speed the tyre can be safely driven at. This letter is an index, with the letter referring to a KPH speed.
